Power Meter Adapter, BNC-to-DB15, Third Party Sensors

The DET-ADAP-PD is a BNC-to-DB15 adapter to interface a third party detector with a BNC termination with a Newport power meter. It is compatible with any device that provides a current output. The power meter will display current reading in Amps. If the Amps unit is not available, it will be displaying the value in the Watt unit, as the responsivity in all wavelengths is programmed to be 1.0. The middle pin is signal (+).  For Oriel detectors, however, use the adapter model 71683 instead, as the polarity is reversed. Use model 71686 for a voltage output detector.
