Features
Easily Attach to Platform Mounts
The UPA Mirror Cup Adapters allow the use of different diameter mirrors in Newport's platform mounts. The optic and adaptor can easily be removed and replaced with minimal realignment. Shown is the M1-P2 platform mount holding a 2-in. diameter mirror using the UPA-2 mirror cup adapter. Note that the 2-in. mirror being held is the same size as the M1-P2 platform mount making this configuration excellent for space saving requirements.
Dedicated Mirror Adapters
Newport's Platform Mounts are complimented by a set of mirror cup adapters. The Mirror Cup Adapters are compatible with ULTIMA® series, PERFORMA-i series, P100-P miniature series as well as M1-P2 platform mounts. They attach to the face of the platform mount through the 1/4-in. hole in the center of the platform and are locked in place by a set screw from the side. The Horizontal Adaptors attach to the mounting holes on an optical mount, providing a mechanism to convert the ULTIMA Platform Mounts to a post-mounted horizontal platform for mounting prisms, cube beamsplitters, or other components.
