The UZS80CC is compatible with the SMC100CC Single Axis DC Motor Controller, and the UZS80PP is compatible with the SMC100PP Single Axis Stepper Motor Controller..

The maximum power consumption of the UZS80CC stage is 40 W, and the UZS80PP stage is 20 W.

High-resolution Vertical Motion

In order to ensure consistent operation under high loads, the UZS80CC with DC motor is equipped with a precision leadscrew and a 4,000 cts/rev rotary encoder, producing sub-micron MIM performance. The UZS80PP utilizes an open-loop stepper motor with high micro-stepping capability, resulting in sub-micron MIM.

Plug and Play - ESP compatible

The UZS is an ESP-compatible stage. When connected to a Newport controller, it is quickly recognized and its operating parameters are configured without the need for user input. This Plug and Play feature is not only transparent to the use, but it also ensures the safe operation of the stage.

Most Compact Design

With a height of less than 40 mm and footprint of about 261 x 81 mm, the UZS highlights a small footprint and lowest profile out of any vertical stage. The lower-profile platform design also allows for unobstructed access to the load from any direction.

Economical Choice

When compared to the other compact vertical linear stages with unobstructed load access, the UZS is the lowest in price.

Metrology Report Included at No Additional Cost

Newport guarantees specification values which are measured and recorded following ASME B5.57 and ISO 230-2 standards. The typical performance values are two times better than the guaranteed.
